- The series is kicking off on September 15 with renowned economist and Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Joseph E. Stiglitz, moderated by veteran CBC foreign correspondent Nahlah Ayed (Host of Ideas on CBC Radio One).
- The keynote discussion with the former Chief Economist of the World Bank, Dr. Stiglitz will look at the future of globalization and Canada's place in the world order.
- Following the keynote, continue the conversation with VIP trade and consular representatives from some of Canada's most important trading partners to discuss the far-reaching impacts of COVID-19 on international trade. (Space in these breakout networking sessions is limited and available only on a first-come, first-served basis.)
As it has been for nearly 20 years, the 2020 Ontario Economic Series will be the forum for visionary leaders in the public, private, education and not-for-profit sectors to shape Ontario's future growth and role in the global economy.
