BLACK BUSINESS CONFERENCE

Join us to discover what keeps our black entrepreneurs motivated and learn directly from them on how to develop new skills to drive performance.

With a population of 2.8 million people, Toronto is not only Canada's largest city, but also its largest employment center and economic hub. Our business focus spans from business & professional services, education, fashion and apparel, information and technology. The UN General Assembly proclaimed 2015-2024 as the International Decade for People of African Descent (resolution 68/237) citing the need to strengthen national, regional and international cooperation in relation to the full enjoyment of economic, social, cultural, civil and political rights by people of African descent, and their full and equal participation in all aspects of society.

During this panel we will be building on the following UN IDPAD mandate: Promote a greater knowledge of and respect for the diverse heritage, culture and contribution of people of African descent to the development of societies. Our goal for this panel, as Canada's national voice for black entrepreneurs is to introduce entrepreneurs of African descent who challenge the status quo by strengthening their economic power through corporate ownership.
