What are the venue's stipulations for vendors that want to set up a food sampling table?

Vendors may need to submit proof of a commercial food insurance coverage certificate.

Vendors will only be permitted to sample product

The Hotel will allow up to 6 vendors to exhibit with samples as long as it does not take away/replace any food & beverage to be served from hotel

CBCC will not be covering the cost of extra electrical circuits which may be needed to service toasters/microwaves

I want to invite a few people who have expressed interest in checking out my booth but I don't want them to have to pay to shop. Is there a discount code I can provide them with for free entry?

Who can I expect to meet at the expo who may be a good contact for my company?

This of course weighs heavily on what industry your business is in. But to give you a general answer, please visit our speaker and sponsors pages. We are conducting a press release on March 16th to announce the Thought Leaders to be featured at this year's Canadian Black Expo. Stay up to date on expo updates by checking for our emails frequently.  

Will you be adding any kind of online expo attendance or live stream of the expo for out of province followers to take part and support black businesses?

I'm an exhibitor at the event and would like to know how much space I'll have to set up my booth?

The tables will be placed approximately 3 feet apart, are 6 feet wide and approximately 3 feet deep.  We're advising our vendors to bring no more than 2 banners, or 1 backdrop.  If we cannot fit both of your banners, we will place it in the pre-function space for added exposure.
